Thrivent Builds Homes, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans sponsors the construction of hundreds of Habitat for Humanity homes every year in the United States by combining the efforts of 2.8 million Thrivent Financial members with Lutheran congregations and institutions, communities, part families and Habitat affiliates. More than two-thirds of the funding for each home is contributed by Thrivent Financial, its members and local chapters. On Saturday, June 19th, St. Stephen will be providing "builders" at a Habitat for Humanity building site. Our Social Ministry Committee is supporting this initiative, and we hope to have a great turnout from our church.
