A free-will offering event with all proceeds benefitting the Urbandale Food Pantry. Enjoy breakfast, then view the Urbandale 4th of July Parade nearby.
Your support of Pancakes 4 Pantry in 2008 raised $4,300 in cash for the Urbandale Food Pantry. The Food Pantry, operated by Urbandale Caring Corps, opened its doors October 2008 to assist Urbandale and Windsor Heights residents in need of food and personal care items.
St. Stephen Lutheran Church of Urbandale is committed to the Urbandale Food Pantry and its patrons throughout the year. Our church members donate food and supplies on an on-going basis.
Pancakes 4 Pantry is a way for St. Stephen, through generous support of Urbandale and surrounding communities, to provide a much needed cash donation to the Urbandale Food Pantry.
All food, supplies, and labor are donated to the Pancakes 4 Pantry event so that all free-will
contributions can be turned over to the Urbandale Food Pantry.
Last year, Pancakes 4 Pantry served nearly 500 people, thanks to our sponsors and the help of 75 volunteers.
In 2009, our goal is to increase attendance and provide the Urbandale Food Pantry with a larger contribution.
