St. Stephen Care Ministry reaches out to members, friends and families of the church and community to those in need of special care.
Prayer Chain
If a prayer request is received in the office by a member or immediate family member, it can be on the prayer list, prayer chain, or both.
The prayer list is a weekly list that is updated and added to the weekend bulletins. This request must be received by 8:00 a.m. on Thursday to be in the bulletin for that weekend.
The prayer chain, Prayer Partners, is initiated with a phone call and email from an office staff person.
The prayer request will only be placed on the prayer list unless the prayer chain is requested specifically.
Confidential prayer requests can be shared with the pastor and staff and not made public. On Tuesday afternoons the staff has prayer time for these types of requests.
If the request is for a non-member, we will pass the information along with the caller taking responsibility for the content.
Hospital Visits
Members should call the office if hospitalized; we are not always notified by the hospitals. Visits are made by Pastor LeAnn Stubbs or Vonna Hall.
Shut-ins
Pastor LeAnn Stubbs and Vonna Hall visit shut ins and give communion regularly. Please call the office if you would like a visit.
