Our Mission and Vision

Mission

St. Stephen Lutheran Church is based on the foundations of grace and ministry. We strive to provide a strong faith community of Christian acceptance, compassion, hope and joy. In response to God's call to love and to serve, we encourage spiritual growth through worship, Christian-based education, fellowship and service.

Vision

We acknowledge each person's faith journey and are challenged to foster our own and each other's spiritual growth. Through grace and ministry, we reach up, reach in, and reach out by active participation in:

Worship, including faithful attendance, daily prayer, and other acts of joy and thanksgiving to praise God;
Christian-based education, through individual or group Bible study, age-specific programs and other offerings to deepen our understanding of and relationship with God;
Fellowship, which builds relationships with others to sustain ourselves and to strengthen our faith community;
Service, through the balanced use of one's unique gifts and resources to graciously serve God and humankind.
